Spring Break, Summer Camps and Family Fun!
As spring begins and we all enjoy spring break, we start thinking of summer and how to fill the days with family fun. This issue of Moms in the Know can help you with that, since it is packed full of information on events, exciting camps, and businesses that all families can use every day. You’ll also find informative articles perfect for spring — one on taking that ultimate recreational vacation, the trip to Disney; an article on getting ready for spring and summer with a Mommy Makeover; and an interesting article on parenting styles. Read it to find out if you are a helicopter mom or a submarine mom. As always we have some excellent tips from local businesses and moms to help make your everyday life easier.
We are always looking for input from local “Moms in the Know,” so share your knowledge about great businesses, events, fun activities, and tips that work for you and your family, and we will include them in a future issue of Moms in the Know. You can email us at info@momsintheknow.com, call us at 843-573-4846, or join us on Facebook. Our Facebook fans get up to date information and are eligible for lots of fun giveaways and contests.
Also please notice with this issue, our cover colors of lavender and green are used to bring attention to Child Abuse Awareness Month. Once again we have partnered with the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving victims of child abuse and neglect in Charleston and Berkeley counties. Their mission is to keep children safe from abuse and, when abuse occurs, to work with our community to bring healing to those children and their families. Be sure to attend their free event, “Movie in the Park” on Friday April 27th; it is going to be fantastic.
We hope you enjoy this issue of Moms in the Know. Use it to get out and take part in all that Charleston has to offer, and stay in touch with us through our website www.momsintheknow.com and our Facebook fan page!
