Our moms in the know recommend their favorite restaurants, stores, community offerings, and more, as well as helpful tips and timesaving tricks. Moms in the Know combines this information to create an invaluable resource that every parent will refer to time and time again.

A Note from Moms in the Know
Moms in the Know began in 2004 as a tool to help Moms navigate the city of Charleston with children in tow. Over the years we have grown and developed to stay in touch with you and help you on your journey of parenthood by having four issues a year and an excellent website. Moms are also able to stay up to date by checking our facebook fan page and a twitter account.
In an effort to continue to improve and grow we have some more changes on the horizon. Our cover now reflects the fact that Moms in the Know is for all moms, in all stages of parenthood. My goal as an editor is to help moms by keeping them informed of all that Charleston has to offer families and by sharing great parenting advice; just as your role as a mother constantly changes, so does this world in which we are raising our children. Moms so often are the navigators, guiding their families through all the different aspects of life. My goal as a mother is to be a well informed navigator by having lots of information on how to keep my family healthy, safe and ready to have fun at any moment. It all comes down to four areas that are important to all families: knowledge, health, home and recreation. With that in mind, each future issue will focus on one of these areas. We’ll also inform you about opportunities and events that you can participate in that will help you become a better navigator. While the issue will focus on knowledge, you’ll still find all of our other useful features like the calendar, tips and information on great family friendly businesses.
